Concerted stage it includes three courses:
1st Kids Education (3 years).
2nd Kids Education (4 years).
3rd Kids Education (5 years).
At this stage, the foundations on which continuous and progressive learning that the child will grow towards autonomy, thought, communication-expression, initiative, coexistence and the discovery of the world will be supported.
From the respect for the evolutionary development of the child and the individual characteristics, the school offers work habits that will give the child safety and enable him to achieve small responsibilities that will make him grow in confidence, self-esteem and happiness. It is very convenient to share habits with the family so that the child proves coherence in their integral training.
Each class has as a reference a teacher / tutor who teaches most of the curricular subjects. This teacher is responsible for creating the family-school link and offering the child’s emotional safety from the highest individual attention. The psychopedagogy department and the specialist teachers collaborate closely in the teaching activity of this stage.
The distribution of time depends on factors such as student interest, concentration ability and these are evolving throughout the course.
What is usually guided throughout the day is as follows:
Welcome and greetings from the class group, take a break, roll to go list, to play Bits of different themes and observation of time. Intercommunication and language. Order habits. Hygiene and cleaning habits. Breakfast in class. Recreation Symbolic game, Free games, directed and dances. Songs, stories, poems and oral expression. Discovering the nearby environment. Discovering the surroundings of oneself. Discovering the visual and plastic environment. Work of spelling Manipulative activities (toys, stories, plastiline, lace, jigsaw). Educational robotics (interactive whiteboards, digital tablets, Bee-bots) for concepts of spatial orientation and error / correct learning. Personal habits.
Coeducation spaces are periodically organized to promote their learning in which children 3, 4 and 5 years of age are self-regulated and socialized, specifically daily recreation time and weekly educational activities.
The educational proposal is completed by educational specialists in: Emotional education, English language music. English language. Psychomotor activity. Physical education and phonological awareness.
Infant students perform an interdisciplinary project throughout the second quarter. The Carnival is centered on interest. The activities carried out by students closes with the exhicición in the Parade of Carnestoltes of the neighborhood by taking a walk for Rambla del Poblenou where the families are integrated. This organization of tasks allows you to work across different learning areas transversally and provides a significant experience with kids as the protagonist of the maurative process.
The students offer a scenic-artistic exhibition to their families in order to celebrate Christmas. On a voluntary basis, participate in cultural excursions and activities organized by the center to support learning objectives in external, specialized and natural spaces.
Throughout the course, two personalized assessment reports are provided to families explaining the degree of achievement of the objectives in the different areas of knowledge and with information about the child in the school setting.
Family / school communication through tutoring must be periodic and whenever required. As well as, together with the psycho-pedagogical department, the coordination of the children’s cycle and the teaching team, weekly meetings are established with the aim of establishing agreements to promote the integral development of children.
In the classroom of 3, 4 and 5 years, the student, through the teaching intervention that carries out the pedagogical proposal of the center, has a positive evolution in the adaptation to the scholastic world, the acquisition of autonomy and the growth in the achievement of conceptual learning (reading / writing) that will open the way to the Primary Education stage.
