Collaboration agreement

Between the school and the Blanquerna-URL Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sports Sciences

Aware that scientific knowledge promotes the advancement of societies and that the relationship between training and action creates an advantageous link, we are pleased to inform you that there is a collaboration agreement between Franciscanes Poblenou and the Faculty of Psychology, Sciences of Blanquerna Education and Sports-URL of the FUNDACIÓ BLANQUERNA, Faculty integrated in the Ramon Llull University, to promote the educational cooperation between both organizations in order to assume and share the educative function that the current context demands in the educational field.

Linking the reality of university studies with the professional reality of schools provides the twinning of knowledge and know-how for the benefit of professionalism and the transfer of conscious improvement of what is the shared reality of both sectors. That is why Blanquerna’s 3rd year Psychology students carry out Service Learning activities at the school, which becomes a meeting point for students to apply and project the knowledge acquired in academic training at the same time as offers the contextualized space where to develop processes of observation and reflection for a critical thinking that will favor their competence development.

At the same time, the school shares new knowledge, contributes to existing lines of research and remains proactive for the improvement based on its educational commitment in the society of the 21st century. This collaboration agreement strengthens the relationship between our congregation and the prestigious Blanquerna organization that they have consolidated over time.
